LookNoThumbs is a UK-based web-to-mobile online text messaging service. It allows users to ‘text’ - i.e. send SMS messages - very quickly and easily to mobile phones, using a proper keyboard instead of tiny buttons. LookNoThumbs also has rich features for business users. Recipients can be individuals, large managed groups, or anonymous subscribers who want text alerts.
With LookNoThumbs we are also on a mission to provide a simple, fair alternative to the ridiculous contract tie-ins, short-lived special offers and complex pricing structures long associated with mobile phone carriers.
Our users have no long-term (or even short-term) commitment to stay with us. If we’re as good as we strive to be, they’ll stay. If not, they’ll leave and all we can do to win them back is ask for their feedback and try to be better. Simple as that.
Pricing is also simple - users buy blocks of 100 pre-paid texts, use them as quickly or slowly as they like, then buy more only when they’re ready. Texts do not expire. (Yes, Really!) The price is a simple flat rate per text. Users can share their texts with other users (families and teams - this is for you!). Just remembered someone’s birthday? Great - send them a LookNoThumbs Voucher using your own texts and they’ll recieve it instantly. Hopefully the first text will be a Thank You to you!
